- was founded in 1999 by Dr. Jeanne Ward, one of the first Doctors of Audiology Specialists in the country. Dr. Melissa Anderson joined the staff in 2005. To earn a Doctor of Audiology degree, both Drs Ward and Anderson completed a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and 4 years of graduate study, which included a 9 month residency. Both are licensed as an Audiologist by the State of Michigan. Both Drs Anderson and Ward are committed to ongoing, continual education to stay abreast of today’s current amplification trends. They work closely with Primary Care Physicians and Ear, Nose, and Throat Physicians to properly identify and treat any medical conditions of the ear.
